About Us
We are a group of like-minded Christians gathered together in fellowship. We know that we are mere sinners and we are saved by the blood of Jesus. As we journey through this life we are commanded to worship our Lord God, and we do so according to a pattern set in the New Testament. When you worship with us, please expect the following:
- Singing - Our songs are sung accapella (without musical instruments). We sing songs of psalms, hymns and spiritual songs. These are meant to worship our Father, but to also stir each other up. [Ephesians 5:19]
- Prayer - We have multiple moments where someone will lead our group in prayer. If you are visiting and have a prayer request, please don't hesitate to let us know. [Philippians 4:6]
- Contribution - Members of our local body are called to give financially to aid in our local work. If you are visiting, we simply encourage you to fill out a vistors card. [2 Corinthians 9:7]
- Preaching - You will hear the word of God proclaimed as we open our bibles and look at the teachings of Jesus. [1 Corinthians 9:18]
- Lord's Supper - A weekly rememberance of the blood sacrifice of Jesus, who died for our sins and was ressurected. We eat unleavened bread and drink fruit of the vine to remember his body and his blood as He paid the ultimate sacrifice for our sins. [Acts 20:7]
It is our careful duty and honor to worship God in a way that is pleasing to Him. Although our worship is simple in manner, we are confident that we are presenting a worship that is pleasing to God.
